
We are giving you the opportunity to take part in two fantastic races, starting from America’s “sunshine state” of Florida, in January 2019!
First up, from 16th-19th January is the 160nm Fort Lauderdale to Key West coastal race.
Later in January, from 27th-28th, is the 811nm Pineapple Cup – Miami to Montego Bay Race. This is one of the oldest offshore races in the US, having started in 1961, and 2019 sees the 34th edition of this superb biennial event.

ABOUT PATA NEGRA
Pata Negra is a prototype IRC 46 design by Marc Lombard, built in 2016. Marc Lombard is renowned for designing some great offshore racing yachts, and Pata Negra is a great example of this offshore pedigree, with a proven track record of podium results offshore, including 1st Overall in the Round Britain & Ireland Race 2018, 2nd in Class for the 2017 Fastnet Race and 2nd in class for the RORC 600.
Her twin rudder gives her phenomenal control off the wind, her foredeck layout with inner forestay, forestay and bow sprit gives crews flexibility on sail plan and her carbon rig and asymmetric sail allow her to perform on any race course.
