We had a fabulous week with LV Yachting for the Cowes Week Bicentenary in August 2026, chartering a Sun Fast 3200. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish. The contracting process and yacht handover was thorough, professional and very well organised, getting us off to a great start, and the hand-back process at the end of the charter was equally smooth and straightforward. The LV Yachting team were professional, friendly and incredibly helpful throughout. During a busy regatta week, they handled any issues that came up quickly and efficiently, so we could focus on the racing and enjoying the event. They also went above and beyond with the details, helping us with team shirts and printing, registration, and all the preparations that made such a difference. A great yacht, a great team and genuinely excellent service. We had a fantastic week and wouldn’t hesitate to charter with LV Yachting again.

The entire crew did a fantastic job. They were all very friendly and helpful and gave us some valuable insights. Zuzana is a talented chef! She really creates tasty dishes. The service was impeccable. We enjoyed the days on Stella to the fullest and felt very comfortable. Our guests have been raving about the sailing trip.

It was a great pleasure to spend a fortnight onboard Stella. She is a proper performance sailboat and, at the same time, an immaculate home. She is stunningly beautiful at anchor and is polished to perfection. The boat captain, Rich, and his crew were attentive, friendly and focused. Rich also displayed excellent seamanship throughout.

I really enjoyed the week on Emily of Cowes. Richard is a great skipper who gave very clear instructions to the crew and created an enjoyable atmosphere on the boat. The Cowes Week experience certainly lived up to expectations, both from a sailing perspective and the onshore activities.

Richard was superb, always reading the boat, keeping us all motivated and involved.

I really enjoyed sailing on Emily of Cowes. Both Sophie and I commented that Richard is an excellent skipper. I particularly liked how communicative he was, explaining what his thoughts were, what he was doing and why as well as asking for opinions. He was also good at making sure everyone was taking part.

The guys were great, very professional and obviously very racy. The hospitality was great, there were no complaints it was a great experience.

I was part of the operating crew on the VOR65 SISI for the 2025 Rolex Middle Sea Race. It was an amazing experience with a highly professional team and top-notch support from LV Yachting. I strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to race on a unique vessel with an exceptional crew.

We participated in Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez with a Swan 53. Everything was perfectly organized — excellent communication, clear arrangements, and a beautiful boat. Top-notch experience. We will definitely continue working together in the future.

Great experience from the initial enquiries to the race and beyond. Very professional and responsive throughout. While organising a crew for a major ocean race, dealing with LV was a pleasure. Needless to say, participating in the Rolex Middle Sea Race was a great experience. The Volvo 70 was an awesome machine, the skipper and crew onboard have become our firm friends. Lucy and team found us the perfect yacht for our first foray into Caribbean regattas at Antigua Sailing Week 2023. LV took care of race entries, berthing and crew registration. I would definitely recommend LV if you are considering chartering a yacht to go racing.

Absolutely superb service from start to finish! Lucy has exceptional knowledge and experience of yacht racing, is a race skipper herself, and knows her charter fleet inside and out. Lucy was able to expertly recommend the best boat for us, and we had a fabulous time racing her. With professional and efficient communication throughout, Lucy and her team were a dream to deal with. We have just completed our fourth year chartering from LV Yachting. We could not be more pleased. LVY makes it easy to charter a boat, and resolves any issue quickly and fairly. We recommend them highly.

We had a great Myth of Malham race on the Sunfast 3200 'Hair of the Dog'. This is what I love about sailing. A group of like minded people who've never met each other, come together and gel as a team with little or no instruction, very satisfying. The boat was well prepped and in great condition, and the skipper (Louise Clayton) was very professional and worked hard throughout the race to keep us competitive. Full boat tour, safety briefs, race over view, route briefing etc. before we started and provided coaching when needed during the race, very impressed. The race was very tactical regarding the light winds which had the potential (as it did to some) ruin the race if getting caught in the wind holes. So we were very pleased with our placing and the race overall. Many thanks for getting me onboard, much appreciated.

We were very impressed overall with Bella J, which was well equipped and well prepared for the regatta. There were excellent race sails and instruments, although not all of the sail wardrobe was available to us. There was clearly a lot of thought and experience in how the boat was set up for racing and this made for some great efficiencies during racing. Sarah and Grace know the boat extremely well and were well placed to advise on sail choice, safety, manoeuvres and race transitions. They listened to and respected our requests for their roles with running of the boat during racing. They offered conservative advice on sail choice and race strategies. Sarah and Grace are very good race crew and stepped into race roles as we requested and fitted in well with the rest of the crew. Grace stepped up to main sheet trimmer when our usual trimmer had an injury and she performed very well in all conditions. Grace had also recently completed her Sailing First Aid course which was very useful for cuts and bruises incurred by some of our crew! Sarah and Grace were patient and calm at all times with our race crew of mixed abilities, and they integrated very well with our crew both on and off the water. Overall we were all very pleased with this charter and would consider chartering Bella J again if the opportunity arose.

Overall, I experienced the race, the organisation, and the crew as extremely professional, truly one of the most professional sailing experiences I have had so far. The guidance and support throughout the entire process were excellent.

First of all, I would like to especially thank Skipper Gerwin Janssen. He is a very composed, highly professional skipper with an impressive amount of experience. Whenever asked, he was always happy to explain everything in detail. I consider him one of the most professional and experienced skippers I have sailed with. He leads the team in a very calm and natural way, a true, natural leader. My sincere thanks to him.

The other crew members, including the Austrian sailing crew, were also very professional. They clearly knew what they were doing and had excellent knowledge of the boat. The boat handling was strong and confident, Syb, the bowman, was particularly very good at his role and performed at a high level. In short, the team itself was very strong: technically skilled, highly professional, and very competent from a sailing perspective.

I never felt unsafe at any point during the crossing which says a lot.

I am extremely happy with how everything was handled: the training days, the communication beforehand, the check-in and check-out process, passport handling, everything was very well organised and professional. There is nothing else to comment on.

I have nothing but praise overall and I would certainly book with you again in the future. Thank you very much for this fantastic experience.

I very much enjoyed the race. My only real feedback is that the packing list and instructions could have been a little bit more race specific. For instance there was no real need for a sleeping bag or heavy wet weather gear. Other than that the crew and boat were great!

Jajo is a great program - highly recommend. The pro crew was very talented, they had 6 total aboard and me/one other much older amateur. Jelmer, the skipper, is top notch! Very physical and intense boat so its a lot for someone with limited experience but perfect for me! I would gladly sail with Jajo again in the future.

It was a very fun race, was happy to be on board. The team was very clear and good at instruction and education of their boat. I highly recommend the boat for others who are interested. Was fast and fun.

Absolutely fabulous charter on Yagiza from the moment we started planning the charter with the team at LV, to standing on stage a team united. Philippe knows the boat like the back of his hand and is an invaluable guide to anyone chartering who wants to know how to get the most out of the boat. Yagiza herself is well balanced on all points of sail, super powerful on a reach, and seriously fun to sail. The interior is a luxurious extra - nothing like going down below to air conditioning on a hot sweaty mediterranean race! And once again, a huge thank you to Lucy and her team for a meticulously organised charter.

The boat captain, Carlos, is a lovely man. He is very young (20) and lacks experience but makes up for it by his wonderful attitude. We liked him, he fit right in with the crew. Fortunately we had Kevin Miller who made up for the areas where Carlos lacked experience.

As always, I give LV Yachting high marks. You and Abi reacted very quickly when we had an issue with insurance at registration. Great job. Thank you.

It was an amazing week!! Best ever! LV Yachting superb service and support, very impressive Eric the boat the Pro, were all amazing he is such a legend, amazing leader, race skipper, boat captain, coach and trainer …. and so much fun with a great sense of humour! Would sail with him again in a heart beat, the team want to charter with him, again just need to recover from the expense (we went out for quite a few dinners) and then discuss which regatta.

We had a fabulous time on the regatta and Eric was excellent. Eric knows his boat well and was an excellent coach – we agreed he would helm the starts as they were the most aggressive I have ever seen, the line was very short, in 9 races I think 7 had general recalls, quite a few more than once! Andiamo is a lovely boat and in excellent condition, sails all as described - I would happily recommend Andiamo and Eric to others and charter again. Also a massive thank you to you Abi and the LV team for all your excellent organisation – everything worked seamlessly and your efforts are much appreciated. Very professional service and look forward to our next charter!

We all had a great time, it was absolutely perfect weather with sunshine and decent breeze, and winning put the icing on the cake. Belladonna is a beautiful boat and had a very professional and friendly crew, who were all great at explaining to everyone what they needed to do. It was great, even discounting the cancelled race on my first day (got only 2 races from planned 3). Belladonna has 6 first places of 6 races. It speaks a lot about racing skills and qualities of crew and boat! It was very good to learn from and see such experienced sailors!
