JOG Race Series

The Junior Offshore Group or 'JOG' race series is a mixed race programme which includes longer offshore series races and shorter inshore series events. Established in 1950, JOG, enables smaller yachts to compete offshore, it organises highly competitive races for IRC rated yachts. The JOG series runs from March to early October throughout the UK race season. Races range from coastal events to cross-channel races. JOG is a yacht club with a difference. What makes JOG different is known amongst the members as “the spirit of JOG”, it’s an outlook and an attitude that captures and combines serious seamanship with a chivalrous but competitive edge and lots of joie de vivre. Once racing is over the party begins!
