This price includes, in addition to the crossing, on-water training, provisions for training and the race, two nights in Bermuda either in a single cabin on the boat or in a resort hotel and one night upon arrival in Lorient, individual disability/death insurance up to €200,000, and safety equipment (including personal beacons and survival suits). Wet weather kit, travel expenses, and additional accommodation costs are not included.
Jean-Pierre Dick invites you to join him aboard the Swan 76, “La Loévie,” for a record attempt between Bermuda and Lorient, as part of the Pure Ocean Challenge 2026. The record to beat is 11 days, 8 hours, and 38 minutes. The aim of this event is to offer a high-quality sporting challenge and a wonderful human adventure
Crew members will participate in a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 6 days of sailing, depending on their availability in May.
1st Session: weather training and sailing aboard the JP54, in Villefranche-sur-Mer (either the weekend of March 13-15 or March 27-29)
2nd Session (optional): sailing from May 13-15 aboard La Loévie (Swan76) in St. George’s, Bermuda, before the challenge. Arrival in Bermuda according to the training program agreed upon during the week preceding departure.
