Ibiza JoySail

Ibiza JoySail first started in 2021 as a different and exciting sailing event and the word has clearly spread. Each year there are more participants coming to this amazing regatta to enjoy laid back fun races against the stunning backdrop of Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera. In September, STP Shipyard and Marina Ibiza, on the famous white island, will open their doors to crews and their family and friends for four days of exciting racing and great events. And while the bases are blessed with truly excellent facilities it is some of the breathtaking scenery and the racing waters which add to the unique appeal of Ibiza JoySail.

RORC Race Programme

The RORC was founded in 1925 to encourage long distance yacht racing and the design, building and navigation of sailing vessels in which speed and seaworthiness are combined. Today the club encourages ocean, long distance and other forms of yacht racing and yachting activity.

World ARC

ARC Europe

Cruise in company from the Caribbean or USA to Lagos Portugal and onwards to Southampton, UK. Explore the Atlantic islands of Bermuda and the Azores. More than just a trans-ocean delivery, ARC Europe is a convivial way to start a European adventure or to end a Caribbean season. The rally has two starts; From St Maarten or the US East Coast with online support; with the two fleets meeting in Bermuda. Then on to cruise the Azores, seeing bull running, flowers, traditional buildings and spectacular scenery before the final voyage to Europe.

Coupe de France

The Coupe de France, first contested in 1891, has undergone significant transformations throughout its history. After an 11-year hiatus, the competition was revitalized in 2003 with a complete restructuring of its rules. The format evolved into a team-based tournament. Ibiza Gold Cup

Based in the Mediterranean. An exclusive 3-day race event for around 15 to 25 Performance cruisers, Cruisers & Classics yachts above 60ft, the Ibiza cup can be described as as a priceless experience, that once sampled is highly addictive. During this 6th edition, prestigious yachts will race bay to bay and sail the turquoise waters of the Ibiza and Formentera. The first edition of the Ibiza Gold Cup took place in 2015. And has been evolving ever since, attracting prestigious yachts above 60 feet to compete. Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta

Opening the superyacht racing season in the Mediterranean, the event will also include the traditional Southern Wind Rendezvous and Trophy. Yachts over 90 feet in length and multihulls over 50 feet in length will be eligible to enrol. The upcoming edition of the event will incorporate several new features. Mainly related to the social calendar, which will be extended with exclusive gala events, beach parties and other convivial gatherings scheduled for event participants each day.

RORC De Guingand Bowl

Presented to the Club by ‘Buster’ (Vice Commodore 1957-1959) and Mrs De Guingand, the Bowl goes to the winner of the annual race bearing their name. The race will head out from the Royal Yacht Squadron line, taking in headlands along the south coast and rounding marks and waypoints in the central English Channel, before returning to the Solent to finish. Complex tides add to the challenge for the skippers and crews with the course being set to take account of the expected wind and tidal conditions
