Ibiza JoySail

Ibiza JoySail first started in 2021 as a different and exciting sailing event and the word has clearly spread. Each year there are more participants coming to this amazing regatta to enjoy laid back fun races against the stunning backdrop of Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera. In September, STP Shipyard and Marina Ibiza, on the famous white island, will open their doors to crews and their family and friends for four days of exciting racing and great events. And while the bases are blessed with truly excellent facilities it is some of the breathtaking scenery and the racing waters which add to the unique appeal of Ibiza JoySail.

RORC Race Programme

The RORC was founded in 1925 to encourage long distance yacht racing and the design, building and navigation of sailing vessels in which speed and seaworthiness are combined. Today the club encourages ocean, long distance and other forms of yacht racing and yachting activity.

World ARC

World ARC is a round-the-world adventure taking place over 14 months and covering 26,000 nautical miles. Following the classic trade winds route, the rally avoids regions of political instability, piracy and the storm seasons in both hemispheres. The Summer Series consists of four open racing events held over the summer months. They encapsulate everything the Royal Southern is about, with great racing on the water and great fun on the shore. Newport Bermuda Race

Round Ireland Race

Round Ireland is Ireland’s premier offshore yacht race, and the third longest race in the Royal Ocean Racing Club calendar. The race first took place in 1980 with only sixteen boats. Since then the race has been held biennially and the fleet has grown steadily, attracting a record 64 entrants from all over the world from maxi to smaller club boats 1/3rd their size and everything in-between. The course is 708nm starting and finishing in Wicklow on the East Coast of Ireland. The fleet head off South, leaving Ireland and all its islands (excluding Rockall) to Starboard. Gotland Runt – ÅF Offshore Race

Formally known as Gotland Runt (Round Gotland), the ÅF Offshore Race is the largest offshore race in the Baltic Sea, arranged by the Royal Swedish Yacht Club in June/July each year. The race starts and finishes around Skeppsholmen on the outskirts of the Stockholm archipelag. Boats leave Stockholm and loop around the Baltic island of Gotland before returning back to the capital.
