This leg of the Mediterranean Sea crossing will take the crew from Palma in the Baleares Islands to Palermo on the island of Sicilia. After a week and more than 650 nautical miles, Avel Vaez will arrive in the city port of Palermo.
On this cruise, the target mileage is around 80 Nm per day including two long legs of 190 and 140 Nm each. In addition to these crossings, the route will follow the southern Sardinia coast and visit smaller islands.
