What to expect

Antigua Sailing Week – with a twist! The name is the same as the iconic 50-year-old event, but the format underwent a major makeover in 2026 which proved hugely successful. We can’t wait to participate in the reimagined ASW in 2027: island rally style. The new format is a blend of fun and friendly racing with rally cruising, taking the fleet from point to point in a gorgeous 4 day tour of Antigua- complete with sunset beach prizegiving parties each night!

The team will be as competitive as they can be but safety will come first, followed by providing a positive learning environment where everyone can develop their skills and enjoy the experience. Expect to be pushed to achieve your best, to expand your skill set and truly challenge yourself, with ongoing support from your professional skipper and first mate.

As part of the Youth 2 Keelboat programme (organised by ASW and Antigua Sailing Association to encourage Antiguan youth to continue on from their dinghy racing and enter into the world of yacht racing), for the last 2 years, Panacea X have welcomed an Antiguan youth onboard as integral member of the team and look forward to doing so again in 2027.

Salona 45 – Panacea X

Designed and built in Croatia by J&J Design and AD Boats, the Salona 45 is a racer cruiser. Big headsails and masthead kites mean it catches the wind even in the light stuff, which works well, also tough in windy conditions as well. The steering is light, responsive and the boat balances well in 20-knots. The Salona 45 stands out...
