What to expect

Barbados Sailing Week has something for everyone! The format is ideal if you are relatively new to racing or looking to expand your skills into different roles. Following two days of training we have 3 days of ’round the cans’ racing out of Bridgetown. This is followed by two relaxing lay days and a chance to prepare for the final day of racing with the Round Barbados Race.

Racing onboard Panacea will be as competitive as it can as a team, but safety will always come first followed by providing an positive learning environment where everyone can develop their skills and enjoy the experience.

Crew will join and leave the boat by dinghy each day, most likely from the beach at Barbados Cruising Club in Carlisle Bay. A waterproof bag for daily essentials is therefore recommended!
