Antigua Racing Cup

The Antigua Racing Cup_ _is an event for racing purists. Billed as an ‘Intense Racing Experience’ this event is for those who prefer high-energy, coastal racing with tactical, course-based racing and intense competition. The event will feature four days of competitive, course-based racing off the south-east coast of Antigua. Antigua’s exhilarating race conditions are envied by most – balmy temperatures, trade winds, big seas at very short distances from shore. Strategically placed in the calendar to allow teams to compete and then head off to their summer events, racers can expect finely tuned variations of the exhilarating courses they would usually associate with sailing conditions along Antigua’s spectacular southern coast, and spectators will still enjoy the breath-taking views from land, sea, or air.

Onshore, English Harbour will continue to buzz with energy, and the social calendar will certainly remain packed with celebrations that highlight the best of Antiguan hospitality. Daily prize-givings each evening at the regatta village in English Harbour will be followed by gatherings in iconic locations. The English Harbour dining scene will form an important part of the celebrations along with cultural entertainment throughout the week.

Yachts will be berthed at the marinas of English and/or Falmouth Harbours or at anchor in either bay – Nelsons Dockyard Marina, Antigua Yacht Club Marina, Falmouth Harbour Marina & the Catamaran Club.
