Date
With over 60 islands and cays, and sheltered sailing waters, the British Virgin Islands are rightly known as the Sailing Capital of the World, and a bucket list sailing destination. It is therefore not surprising that, from its beginning in 1973, the BVIs Spring Regatta has grown in size with continuing support from racing enthusiasts around the world.
The BVI Spring Regatta is a week long, Festival and Regatta, two great events rolled into one, including some beautiful cruising, competitive racing and serious fun on and off the water!
Racing kicks off on Tuesday with the ever-poular Round Island Race, a 37 nautical mile race round the stunning island of Tortola. The Scrub Island Invitational takes please on Wednesday, followed by an afternoon BBQ, music and pool party
The following 3 day regatta is predominantly windward/leeward courses, with 2 races a day commencing at 1000 and finishing at approximately 1600.
