From modern lightweight planing yachts to evergreen designs of the 1970s and 80s, the IRC rule brings them all together for three days of intense racing.
The races are approximately 60 to 90 minutes in duration for the lead boat and use either windward-leeward or round the buoys type of courses in the Central Solent area.
