The RORC TransAtlantic, sets sail for a new destination! For the first time, in 2025 the race will once again set sail from Calero Marinas, Marina Lanzarote in the Canary Islands before charting a new course west to a spectacular finish in Antigua, West Indies. This exciting new destination ushers in a vibrant chapter in the race’s evolution, reinforcing its place as one of the great modern ocean classics and offering better logistics for race teams continuing on to Antigua for the RORC Caribbean 600
The race has established itself as the definitive offshore transatlantic race bound for the Caribbean and attracts a competitive and diverse fleet of yachts and sailors from around the world.
With RORC focused on maintaining a safe and high quality race, crew must be able to prove offshore racing experience of at least 500nm, with a minimum of 25% of the crew having sailed 500nm on the boat entering the race, in the previous 18 months. We can arrange a whole boat charter for the race, or even help you get some mileage to join as an individual crew member.
