What to expect

The Tattinger Regatta is a popular and successful fixture in the South Coast’s racing calendar. Running over three days, it offers fun on and off the water. The enduring popularity of the regatta is easy to define: a diverse fleet and well-organised racing; onshore entertainment with a broad appeal and an informal atmosphere all set against a stunning backdrop.

Itinerary

Friday 24th July: Training Day
9am – Join Incisor at Cowes Yacht Haven, Cowes, Isle of Wight
Saturday 52th July: Race Day 1
Sunday 26th July: Race Day 2
Return sail to Cowes Yacht Haven.

Crew information

Skipper/Owner, Derek Saunders, has extensive race experience and expert local knowledge of these tactically challenging Solent race courses. Derek will be joined by a First Mate with equally strong sailing knowledge.

Prerequisite experience

This opportunity is open to sailors with a range of sailing experience. No previous race experience is required. The professional skipper has experience in bringing together a crew of mixed experience to make sure everyone is actively involved in racing the yacht.
