What's included

The price includes; 1 training day before the regatta starts. Four full race days, racing with the support of 3 professional crew. The price includes all boat and race costs.

The price does not include flights and transfers, personal insurance, onshore accommodation, meals ashore or wet weather kit.

What to expect

Sail aboard a proven Volvo Ocean 65 with an experienced offshore crew and fully participate in the racing at this ever-popular Caribbean regatta.

As a crew member, you’ll join a tight-knit team of a total of 14 sailors from diverse backgrounds, all united by a shared goal: racing on a high-performance VO65. This is a hands-on role – every sailor takes part in the racing and you’ll be fully immersed in the regatta racing lifestyle – supported by 3 professionals who value teamwork, safety, and competitiveness.

Prerequisite experience

This opportunity is open to sailors with a range of sailing experience. The professional crew have experience in bringing together a crew of mixed experience to make sure everyone is actively involved in racing the yacht.

Where

The Heineken Regatta takes place in Sint Maarten which is the smallest inhabited island in the world divided between two nations, the French and the Dutch and this lends the island a unique air. Fantastic sailing conditions, a dedicated race village, great marinas and anchorages and vibrant shore life top off the picture.
