What's included

The price includes; 2 training / preparation days before the race, 4 professional crew, provisioning for the race, all boat and race costs. Additional costs include flights and transfers, personal insurance, onshore accommodation, meals ashore or wet weather kit.

What to expect

This challenging offshore race starts from Mondello’s Gulf and finishes at the Principality of Monaco. The event will test your seamanship and navigational skills as you navigate over 500 nautical miles through stunning Mediterranean scenery before crossing the finish line and celebrating your achievement in the glamorous setting of the Principality of Monaco.

Tuesday August 18th: Race start
Thursday 20th: Expected Finish after 2,5 +/- 1 days
Sunday 23rd: Monaco Awards Ceremony

Crew information

The crew consists of international professional sailors from the Austrian Ocean Racing team who have the know-how of the VO65 and will instruct and support clients on the boat. They have a wealth of experience of both ocean and regatta racing. The team generally races with four professional crew alongside clients.

Prerequisite experience

Some previous experience of offshore racing is required. We would also strongly encourage you to have completed your ISAF Offshore safety and sea survival.

Where

Starting in Palermo, Italy, finishing in Montecarlo.

Accommodation

Crew will need to find accommodation ashore in the days ahead of the race and in Monaco.
