A highly refined and professionally maintained JPK 1030 with an exceptional IRC race record, Mary is a turnkey short-handed offshore racer, fully prepared for the 2026 racing season.

Launched in 2019, JPK 1030 – Mary is a standout example of this highly successful design, benefitting from continuous optimisation and careful ownership. Campaigning consistently at the sharp end of competitive IRC fleets, she has achieved impressive championship results: 5th (2021), 2nd (2022), 6th (2023), and 4th (2024)—a clear testament to both the platform and her meticulous setup. Based in La Trinité-sur-Mer, she has been professionally maintained and presents as a race-ready package for serious offshore or coastal competition.

Race Setup & Performance

Mary has been configured specifically for short-handed offshore racing, combining performance, reliability, and ease of operation. She is equipped with a carbon Axxon mast and boom, rod rigging, and a full symmetric and asymmetric spinnaker setup, offering versatility across a wide range of conditions and race formats. Her IRC certificate is current, with 2025 weighing completed, allowing a new owner to step straight into competition.

A comprehensive North Sails inventory (2020–2024) supports her race programme, including a new mainsail and A2 added in 2024, ensuring competitive sail shape and longevity for the seasons ahead.

Systems & Equipment

Water ballast is a key feature of Mary’s offshore capability, with 2 × 300-litre tanks, centrally snorkel-filled and controlled from the cockpit, providing effective righting moment when sailing short-handed. Her NKE Gyro Pilot system with dual pilots delivers excellent steering performance in demanding offshore conditions.

Power is provided by a Volvo D1-20F with approximately 605 engine hours, paired with a Gori Racing propeller for efficient propulsion under power and minimal drag under sail. Electrical systems have been upgraded with 2 × 130Ah lithium service batteries, improving reliability and weight distribution.

Condition & Compliance

Mary is OSR Category 2 compliant, with liferaft serviced in February 2024, making her suitable for a wide range of offshore events. She was freshly coated with Nautix T4 Speed antifouling in June 2025, ensuring a fast and fair underwater profile for the current season.

Summary

Optimised, proven, and professionally maintained, JPK 1030 – Mary represents an outstanding opportunity for sailors seeking a competitive, well-sorted short-handed racer with a strong results history and no significant expenditure required. Fully equipped and race-ready, she is ideally suited to an ambitious 2026 campaign.
