The price includes 4 professional crew and all boat costs. Additional costs include flights and transfers, personal insurance, onshore accommodation, meals ashore and wet weather kit.
This passage provides the opportunity to become a fully integrated crew member on this performance race yacht. Watch systems will be in place for the duration of the passage.
16th April – depart Horta, Azores
21st April – Expected arrival date in Vigo, Spain
Also possible to combine this passage with Transatlantic passage Anitgua to Horta, 1st -11th April.
The crew consists of international professional sailors from the Austrian Ocean Racing team who have the know-how of the VO65 and will instruct and support clients on the boat. Skipper Gerwin Jansen has a wealth of experience of both ocean and regatta racing.
North Atlantic
Berths are functional bunks on this performance race yacht. Watch systems will be in place for the duration of the passage.
No previous experience is required although being comfortable at sea over night is a requirement. Offshore experience is preferred.
