Carriacou / Grenada
Accommodation is not offered on board, however there are various accommodation options readily available (i.e. searchable on Google & AirBnB) near each of the 3 venues: Carriacou, Le Phare Bleu and Port Louis Marina where the boat will be based.
The event begins in Carriacou, the island north of Grenada. There is a small airstrip for charter flights, but the easiest way to get there is a ferry ride from St. George’s in Grenada. Based out of Tyrell Bay Marina for the training days through until the morning of Tuesday, February 2 when racing takes you to Le Phare Bleu in Grenada.
Le Phare Bleu is on the south coast of Grenada. Crew bags will be carried onboard or arrange to be carried by another boat. Expect to arrive in the afternoon of February 2 and leave from there the morning of February 4 to race to Port Louis.
The yacht will be based out of Port Louis Marina for the remainder of the event.
