Join record breaking sailor Jean-Pierre Dick for a true bucket list experience, crossing the Atlantic on Swan 76, La Loévie
There will be 3 stages to the schedule for the ARC on La Loévie
1. Weather Training – a day of weather training with a professional offshore racing router, to familiarise the crew with routing techniques as well as the predictable weather systems on the course.
2. 4 days onboard La Loévie during late September, for training and preparation for the race.
3. Crew meet on evening of November 19th, in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, for a race start on 22nd November.
Dates are subject to change at this stage and will be confirmed in closer to the event based on availability and once the crew have been finalised.
You will be part of a crew of 8 people including Jean-Pierre Dick (skipper), First Mate and 6 passionate amateurs. Jean-Pierre holds the Captain 200 Sailing certificate.
Some previous offshore sailing experience is required, and an interview with Jean-Pierre Dick to discuss experience.
