“Amoress 3″ a Swan 56 is an exquisite yacht designed by German Frers and built by Nautor’s Swan, renowned worldwide as one of the greatest performance cruising yachts ever conceived. Launched in 1999, this beautiful vessel has been meticulously maintained and refitted to ensure both competitive racing performance and luxurious cruising comfort. Amoress 3, currently cruising in the Mediterranean with her family owners, has been lightly used and primarily stored ashore during winters for service and maintenance. Her striking midnight blue hull and modern-classic lines make her an absolute head-turner, blending aesthetics with top-tier functionality.
Amoress 3 is equipped with an Offshore Spars intermediate modulus carbon fibre mast and a regatta keel, designed for fast and comfortable sailing. The deep, high-performance keel enhances her stability with a centre of gravity positioned 45 cm deeper than the standard keel, offering superior handling and performance. This yacht is ready for global adventures, boasting upgrades such as a new Yanmar 110 hp engine installed in 2008, rod rigging replaced in 2010-2011, and a comprehensive refit in 2014-2015, which included a new JP3 rudder bearing, composite bearing house, Westerbeke BTDB 12.5 generator, new charger, inverter, and a complete interior varnishing.
Inside, the Swan 56 features a stunning teak interior, with a standard layout designed for both comfort and practicality. The forward section includes the large, full-width master cabin with a desk, seating area, and a separate shower cabin opposite the head. The main salon is spacious, featuring an L-shaped sofa and a teak table that can seat up to six diners, with a three-person sofa and entertainment area on the left side. Exclusive features such as a 22” Samsung TV with DVD player, a custom-designed onboard computer instrumentation, and a fully equipped kitchen with white Corian countertops, stainless steel double sink, oven and four-burner stove, provide all the comforts of home. Two aft cabins and one crew cabin forward ensure ample space for guests and crew.
Amoress 3 has been continuously maintained to the highest standards, with her most recent refit completed in winter 2024 which included a new water heater, Mastervit Mass 24/100 charger and mast jack, Reckmann furling serviced and new bearings and new sliders. A rod rig survey by QI Composite visual and ultrasound NDT with certificate and mast out for service and inspection.
