What's included

The price includes 4 professional crew, all boat and race costs, berth on board and meals when racing.
All crew members will be required to obtain FFV French Sailing Licence, at an additional cost of approx. €80 and ARC crew fees are also payable at a cost of approx. €215.

Additional costs include flights, transfers, accommodation and food ashore and personal insurance.

This opportunity includes the passage from Lorient, France to Gran Canaria ahead of the ARC Rally from Gran Canaria to St Lucia

What to expect

The ARC is the longest running annual transatlantic rally, the 2,700 nautical mile passage on the North East trade winds is a safe and enjoyable way to sail across the Atlantic. With more than 200 boats participating in this event, the rally is characterised by a tremendous camaraderie between all those taking part.

You’ll be racing as part of a Corinthian crew alongside four professional sailors. Libertalia is a racing boat, with no autopilot or furlers on the headsails. 

Crossing the Atlantic demands self-sacrifice and resilience. It’s an opportunity to “let go” of the pace of life on land, to “reconnect” with yourself and enjoy the simple pleasures of life. A competitive spirit is essential for such an event.

An open plane ticket is recommended, as the arrival dates in St Lucia can vary. Option to sail the first leg from Lorient in Southern Brittany.

Itinerary

18th November – Crew Arrive in Las Palmas
22nd of November 2026 – Start of the ARC
6th December (ETA) – Arrival Rodney Bay Marina in St Lucia

Sailing alongside four professional sailors (Captain, First Mate, Navigator and Watch leader). Full details on request.

Prerequisite experience

Previous offshore sailing experience is required and we recommend completing the World Sailing Offshore Survival Course.
