The price includes Skipper, all boat and race costs and meals when racing. Additional costs include flights, transfers, meals and accommodation ashore and personal insurance.

What to expect

This event provides a week of thrilling activity on water and on land. Swans from around the world will gather at the Yacht Club Costa Smerelda in Porto Cervo for the Rolex Swan Cup.

Competing yachts are divided into various groupings where the yachts are identical and the focus is firmly on crew work. Competition is relentless. Margins on the water are tight and there is usually drama until the very last race.

Crew information

The skipper is Peter Hopps. Peter is a commercially endorsed yacht master instructor and examiner and has been working full time in the sailing industry since 1995. He has extensive experience both racing and cruising on both his own yacht a Sigma 38 and on other yachts. He has spent the last 7 winters in the Caribbean and has completed in all the different regattas multiple times, alongside many transAtlantic crossing and more racing in the UK and Europe during the summer months.

Prerequisite experience

This opportunity is open to sailors with a range of sailing experience. The professional crew have experience in bringing together a crew of mixed experience to make sure everyone is actively involved in racing the yacht.
