Prices includes all boat and race costs, 3 training/ boat preparation days, professional race skipper and food when racing. Additional costs include flights, transfers, food and accommodation ashore and personal insurance.
As crew onboard Rock n Roll you are fully committing yourself, you are not a passenger on this boat. We really feel strongly that this is your boat to race and we facilitate that in every way we can. There will be only 5 people in the crew, and the result of this race will depend on each crew member!

Afanasy is a highly experienced offshore sailor, having completed more than 150,000nm. Afanasy has extensive experience in ocean crossing and racing with amateur crew and is a commercially endorsed yacht master offshore. He used to own a 80′ maxi, which he skippered around the world, including 2 Caribbean and a Mediterranean season, the Cape Town to Rio race, the Transpac and the Sydney Hobart. Onboard Rock’n’Roll Afanasy has competed in 2 Rolex Fastnet Races and many other local races.
Previous offshore racing experience is required. We would also strongly encourage you to have completed your ISAF Offshore safety and sea survival
The RORC TransAtlantic race is the is the newest and lengthiest offshore race in the RORC programme, starting in Lanzarote and finishing 2995nm later in Port Louis Marina, Grenada.
Accommodation is available onboard in Gran Canaria, in the days ahead of the race.
