The Summer Series consists of four open racing events held over the summer months. They encapsulate everything the Royal Southern is about, with great racing on the water and great fun on the shore. Coupe de France

The Coupe de France, first contested in 1891, has undergone significant transformations throughout its history. After an 11-year hiatus, the competition was revitalized in 2003 with a complete restructuring of its rules. The format evolved into a team-based tournament. The 2025 edition features five prestigious events: the Toulon Provence Regatta, the Porquerolles Race, the Europa Cup, the Regates Royales de Cannes, and Les Voiles de St Tropez

Palermo – Montecarlo

Organised by the Circolo della Vela Sicilia, in collaboration with the Yacht Club de Monaco and Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, the Palermo-Montecarlo Race will kick off in the Gulf of Mondello. The Palermo-Montecarlo Race is one of the most prestigious races in the Mediterranean. Founded in 2005, to unite the cities of Palermo and Monaco through a yacht race, this event offers both technical racing and beautiful landscapes. A challenge based on tactics, tacks and jibes, boats will have to pass through a “gate” off Porto Cervo – Sardinia, before heading to Monaco on the Côte d’Azur. Chartering a yacht for this race will be an incredible experience and one not to miss!

Dartmouth Regatta and Sailing Week

The Dartmouth Royal Regatta Sailing Week is the oldest regatta in the UK –  first run in 1822.  This race week is not a pure yachting regatta but also a festival of the sea, air and a celebration of all things British, set on the beautiful Devonshire coastline and River Dart. Rolex Maxi Cup

The Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup has been the flagship annual event for Maxi monohulls, more than 60 feet (18.30 metres) in length, since 1980. Organized by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and staged in the emerald waters off the club’s magnificent headquarters in Porto Cervo, northern Sardinia, it brings together the greatest number of maxi yachts, which compete for nearly a week in races ranging in distance from 15–35 nautical miles (28 to 65 kilometres) The Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, will be celebrating its 32nd edition this year, and is one of the most iconic regattas in international yachting. Little Britain Challenge Cup

The Little Britain Challenge Cup is the property and construction industry’s annual sailing regatta, held annually in September. It is a fantastic event for project teams celebrating success, for team building and relationship building, and for client entertaining. It’s also a great time to learn to sail with other industry professionals and to improve your boat and racing skills. Consider either a whole boat charter or an individual spot for this regatta and you are bound to have a great weekend of racing! All the sailing takes place in the Solent around the ‘cans’ (the Solent buoys and marks) and there are 5 races held over two days – two on Friday and three on Saturday.
