Ibiza JoySail first started in 2021 as a different and exciting sailing event and the word has clearly spread. Each year there are more participants coming to this amazing regatta to enjoy laid back fun races against the stunning backdrop of Mallorca, Ibiza and Formentera. In September, STP Shipyard and Marina Ibiza, on the famous white island, will open their doors to crews and their family and friends for four days of exciting racing and great events. And while the bases are blessed with truly excellent facilities it is some of the breathtaking scenery and the racing waters which add to the unique appeal of Ibiza JoySail.

The RORC was founded in 1925 to encourage long distance yacht racing and the design, building and navigation of sailing vessels in which speed and seaworthiness are combined. Today the club encourages ocean, long distance and other forms of yacht racing and yachting activity.

World ARC is a round-the-world adventure taking place over 14 months and covering 26,000 nautical miles. Following the classic trade winds route, the rally avoids regions of political instability, piracy and the storm seasons in both hemispheres. World ARC is a mix of cruising in company and free time to explore. The pace of the rally allows the fleet to stay together, and to enjoy shore-side activities as a group

The Summer Series consists of four open racing events held over the summer months. They encapsulate everything the Royal Southern is about, with great racing on the water and great fun on the shore. The Coupe de France, first contested in 1891, has undergone significant transformations throughout its history. After an 11-year hiatus, the competition was revitalized in 2003 with a complete restructuring of its rules. The format evolved into a team-based tournament. The 2026 edition features five prestigious events: the Toulon Provence Regatta, the Porquerolles Race, the Europa Cup, the Regates Royales de Cannes, and Les Voiles de St Tropez

The Women’s Open Keelboat Championships (WOKC) is run by a group of dedicated female volunteers. That are passionate about sailing and supporting women in sailing. Dubarry continue to be the headline sponsors, supporting the event year in year out. This year the event will be taking place from the beautiful location of the Royal Southern Yacht Club in the Hamble, where they are able to host all parts of the event without compromise or losing the excellent sailing conditions offered by the Central Solent. The popular Frocks & Flipflops party will take place after racing on the Saturday evening. Lady racers, their friends and HRSC members can let down their hair and raise some cash for charities.
