Royal Southern Summer Series

The Summer Series consists of four open racing events held over the summer months. They encapsulate everything the Royal Southern is about, with great racing on the water and great fun on the shore. The Solent

Coupe de France

The Coupe de France, first contested in 1891, has undergone significant transformations throughout its history. After an 11-year hiatus, the competition was revitalized in 2003 with a complete restructuring of its rules. The format evolved into a team-based tournament. The 2025 edition features five prestigious events: the Toulon Provence Regatta, the Porquerolles Race, the Europa Cup, the Regates Royales de Cannes, and Les Voiles de St Tropez

Copa del Rey Regatta

Sponsored by MAPFRE, the prestigious Copa del Rey Regatta in the Bay of Palma is a highlight of the international yachting calendar, and features the highest level of competition sailing in the Mediterranean. This much-acclaimed regatta, created in 1982, has always been organised by the exclusive Real Club Náutico de Palma. The commercial name is Copa del Rey Mapfre, due to the sponsorship of the Mapfre company. When you arrange a whole boat charter you will combine perfect racing conditions with the legendary hospitality and stunning vistas that the island is famous for.

Rolex Fastnet Race

The Rolex Fastnet Race is the most popular 600+ mile offshore race in the world. Known for its challenging conditions, the 695 nm route starts off Cowes and takes the fleet across the Irish Sea to the Fastnet Rock and back. Founded in 1925, the Rolex Fastnet Race is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2025. From these small roots, more than 450 yachts are expected on the start line from 30ft club races to 100ft+ maxi.

Cowes Week

Want to take part in one of the UK’s longest running, and competitive sporting events? Cowes Week takes place on the Solent and stages up to 40 daily races for around 1,000 boats! The strong tides and the changeable weather make the course challenging and highly competitive. The 8 day event combines racing with superb shoreside entertainment and social events.

ARC Europe

Cruise in company from the Caribbean or USA to Marina de Lagos in southern Portugal. Explore the Atlantic islands of Bermuda and the Azores. More than just a trans-ocean delivery, ARC Europe is a convivial way to start a European adventure or to end a Caribbean season. The rally has two starts; From St Maarten or the US East Coast with online support; with the two fleets meeting in Bermuda. Then on to cruise the Azores, seeing bull running, flowers, traditional buildings and spectacular scenery before the final voyage to Europe.

Safe Harbour Race Weekend

Safe Harbor are hosting a new racing event, set in the cobblestoned charm of downtown Newport, Rhode Island. The host marinas are located in Newport, Portsmouth and Jamestown, Rhode Island, and the shore side parties planned for each day are sure to rival even the excitement of the racing in Narragansett Bay. These include an opening dinner with traditional coastal New England cuisine, a Talk of The Town Crew Party with a mariner’s feast and live music, and a spectacular awards ceremony to round off the event. The racing promises to deliver good sportsmanship, enjoyable competition and sailing camaraderie on Narragansett Bay or Rhode Island Sound, depending on weather conditions, with a mixture of navigational courses and Windward Leeward courses, and the highly prized ‘Around Conanicut Island’ coastal race.

ORC World Championships

The 2025 ORC World Championship will be hosted by Tallinn, Estonia - the European Capital of Sport for 2025. Bringing together top sailing teams from around the globe to battle on the shores of the Gulf of Finland for one of four coveted world titles. The event will include the standard ORC A, ORC B and ORC C divisions, but will also include Class 0, added for the first time in 2024, opening up the event to boats with CDL values up to 17,400.

Porto Cervo

Palermo – Montecarlo

Organised by the Circolo della Vela Sicilia, in collaboration with the Yacht Club de Monaco and Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, the Palermo-Montecarlo Race will kick off in the Gulf of Mondello. The Palermo-Montecarlo Race is one of the most prestigious races in the Mediterranean. Founded in 2005, to unite the cities of Palermo and Monaco through a yacht race, this event offers both technical racing and beautiful landscapes. A challenge based on tactics, tacks and jibes, boats will have to pass through a “gate” off Porto Cervo – Sardinia, before heading to Monaco on the Côte d’Azur. Chartering a yacht for this race will be an incredible experience and one not to miss!
