The price includes; 2 training days and a preparation day before the race, 4 professional crew, all boat and race costs. Additional costs include flights and transfers, personal insurance, onshore accommodation, meals ashore and wet weather kit.
Starting in Marina Lanzarote and finishing 2995nm later in Port Louis Marina, Grenada. The course takes the competitors through the Canary Islands, with their reputation for large acceleration zones and big waves, before heading out across the Atlantic Ocean.
The race has established itself as the definitive offshore transatlantic race bound for the Caribbean and attracts a competitive and diverse fleet of yachts and sailors from around the world.

The Skipper is Gerwin Jensen whose sailing experience includes 6 Atlantic crossings, 5 Sydney Hobart races, 4 RORC 600, 4 Rolex Middle Sea Races and 2 Rolex Fastnet Campaigns.
Boat Captain, Oliver Kobale, has over 70,00 miles experience on Volvo 65.
Rapahel Hussl, bow/crew, has more than 20,00 miles experience on Volvo 65 and has completed the RORC 600 and Middle Sea Race.
Konstantin Kobale, Trim/crew, has more has more than 20,000 miles experience on Volvo 65 and has completed the RORC 600 and Middle Sea Race.
Previous offshore racing experience is required. We would also strongly encourage you to have completed your ISAF Offshore safety and sea survival
The RORC TransAtlantic race is the is the newest and lengthiest offshore race in the RORC programme, starting in Lanzarote and finishing 2995nm later in Port Louis Marina, Grenada.
Accommodation ashore will be needed for the days before the race, Sisi will be berthed in Marina Lanzarote. Good options for accommodation in Lanzarote can be found on Airbnb.
