Safe Harbour Race Weekend

Safe Harbor are hosting a new racing event, set in the cobblestoned charm of downtown Newport, Rhode Island. The host marinas are located in Newport, Portsmouth and Jamestown, Rhode Island, and the shore side parties planned for each day are sure to rival even the excitement of the racing in Narragansett Bay.
These include an opening dinner with traditional coastal New England cuisine, a Talk of The Town Crew Party with a mariner’s feast and live music, and a spectacular awards ceremony to round off the event.
The racing promises to deliver good sportsmanship, enjoyable competition and sailing camaraderie on Narragansett Bay or Rhode Island Sound, depending on weather conditions, with a mixture of navigational courses and Windward Leeward courses, and the highly prized ‘Around Conanicut Island’ coastal race.
