What's included

The price includes a professional skipper, all boat and race costs, one day’s training and lunch onboard on both days. Additional costs include flights, transfers, personal insurance, meals and accommodation ashore.

What to expect

Crew will join Rock n roll in Royal Clarence Marina, Gosport on both the training and race day. Rock n Roll will return to Gosport after the race finish, crew have the option to depart in Cowes afterwards.

Crew information

Afanasy is a highly experienced offshore sailor, having completed more than 150,000nm. Afanasy has extensive experience in ocean crossing and racing with amateur crew and is a commercially endorsed yacht master offshore. He used to own a 80′ maxi, which he skippered around the world, including 2 Caribbean and a Mediterranean season, the Cape Town to Rio race, the Transpac and the Sydney Hobart. Onboard Rock’n’Roll Afanasy has competed in 2 Rolex Fastnet Races and many other local races.

Prerequisite experience

This opportunity is open to sailors with a range of sailing experience. The professional skipper has experience in bringing together a crew of mixed experience to make sure everyone is actively involved in racing the yacht.
