What to expect

The Loro Piana Giraglia Regatta offers both a challenging and prestigious experience, combining a demanding 241-nautical-mile offshore race from Saint-Tropez to Genoa with inshore races in Saint-Tropez. This historic event, known for its challenging conditions and competitive atmosphere, provides a unique opportunity to test seamanship, navigation, and tactical skills while enjoying the camaraderie and social scene of Saint-Tropez

Prerequisite experience

Some previous experience of offshore racing is required. We would also strongly encourage you to have completed your ISAF Offshore safety and sea survival

Where

The Loro Piana Giraglia offshore race starts in St Tropez, a route of 243 miles with a mark in French waters off Cannes before heading for the Giraglia islet and returning to the Yacht Club Italiano in Genoa, where the prizegiving will be held.

Accommodation

Accommodation is available onboard on a first come, first served basis for the inshore stage in St Tropez. Alternatively, crew can arrange their own onshore accommodation. Good options for St Tropez can be found on Airbnb.
