The price includes all boat costs, berth and meals onboard, safety equipment and wet weather gear. Additional costs include flights, transfers, food and accommodation ashore, personal insurance and bike rental (please bring your own or hire locally)
Join Resolute for a truly unique adventure where you can explore Scotland’s breathtaking west coast by bike while our sailing yacht provides your floating base. Each day, we will drop you off at a stunning coastal location for an incredible cycle route, then meet you at a different point by evening. Ride as much or as little as you like – you always have the option to hop back on board and sail to the next destination!
Enjoy the thrill of sailing between cycling destinations, with stunning coastal views along the way. Spot dolphins, seals, eagles, and even whales as we sail along the west coast.

Sunday 7th September, 9am: Crew arrive for safety briefing ahead of midday departure
Friday 2th September: Arrive back in Oban Harbour by 5pm
Destinations & Routes:
Day 1: Oban to Craignure & Loch Spelve (Isle of Mull)
• Cycling Route: Oban → Craignure → Duart Castle → Loch Spelve (approx. 30 miles)
• Terrain: Predominantly smooth roads with some short climbs.
• Highlights: Stunning coastal roads, visit the historic Duart Castle, and take in Mull’s scenic beauty.
• Boat Anchorage: Loch Spelve.
Day 2: Loch Spelve to Tobermory (Isle of Mull)
• Cycling Route: Loch Spelve → Salen → Tobermory (approx. 40 miles)
• Terrain: Rolling hills with sections of winding country roads.
• Highlights: Ride through lush forests and remote stretches of Mull, finishing in the vibrant harbour town of Tobermory. Enjoy a well-earned pint at the famous Mishnish pub.
• Boat Anchorage: Tobermory Bay.
Day 3: Tobermory to Kilchoan & Ardnamurchan Peninsula
• Cycling Route: Tobermory → Kilchoan → Ardnamurchan Lighthouse → Sanna Bay (approx. 35 miles)
• Terrain: Quiet roads, stunning coastal climbs, and thrilling descents.
• Highlights: Ride to the UK’s most westerly mainland point, with incredible coastal views and white sandy beaches.
• Boat Anchorage: Sanna Bay.
Day 4: Sanna Bay to Mallaig & Isle of Skye
• Cycling Route: Sanna Bay → Mallaig → Sleat Peninsula (Isle of Skye) (approx. 45 miles)
• Terrain: Coastal roads, ferry crossing to Skye, a mix of rolling and hilly sections.
• Highlights: Quiet, winding roads through Ardnamurchan before reaching the dramatic landscapes of Skye.
• Boat Anchorage: Broadford Bay, Isle of Skye.
Day 5: Broadford to Knoydart Peninsula
• Cycling Route: Broadford → Glenelg → Knoydart (approx. 40 miles)
• Terrain: A mix of coastal roads and some more challenging climbs.
• Highlights: Ride past ancient ferry crossings, stunning mountain views, and into the wild, remote Knoydart Peninsula.
• Boat Anchorage: Loch Hourn or Inverie, Knoydart.
Day 6: Knoydart to Oban
• Sailing Only: A scenic sail back to Oban, allowing you to relax and enjoy the stunning coastal views.
• Boat Anchorage: Return to Oban Harbour by evening.
