After welcoming in the New Year, Sea Dragon will set sail on Jan 1st and head to Marigot Bay, a short hope down the coast. Spend the night on anchor and do some exploring in the morning. Next stop is Soufriere, where you can hike up the famous Pitons or head to the Botanical Gardens and Mineral Baths. After spending two nights here, enjoy an afternoon sail to Vieux Fort, a beautiful bay down the south of the island. As you leave your final anchorage, you will head up the coast back to Rodney Bay taking in the beautiful scenery en route.
SV Sea Dragon is a working expedition vessel. The aim is to enable everyone on board to fully participate in all aspects of a voyage. From helming to sail changes, swimming to socialising, cooking and cleaning. It is a hands-on and immersive environment for learning, adventure, and connecting with your fellow voyagers. While adventure sailing, everyone will stand watch for a few hours followed by a few hours of free time. You can sleep, read, chat, or just watch the ocean. On anchor or in port, things vary depending on location, but some adventure is guaranteed. Opportunities include snorkelling, hiking, or exploring ashore. The cuisine onboard is delicious and hearty vegetarian food. When at sea, you will eat lunch and dinner as a group. Breakfast is an individual affair, powered by freshly ground coffee or loose-leaf tea.
