What to expect

The ARC is a “must-do” event for sailors worldwide, drawing over 200 boats and 1,200 participants each year to sail 2,700 nautical miles across the Atlantic, from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia. Originally created as a safe way to cross the Atlantic in company, it has evolved into the largest trans-ocean sailing event in the world. Following the classic trade wind route, the ARC offers ideal downwind sailing conditions for a true ocean adventure. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience — days filled with steady quartering winds, rolling Atlantic swells, scattered cumulus clouds, and sunsets on the bow.

With Vantanera in racing mode for the crossing, there will be 10 guests and 6 professional crew, including a chef/stew onboard, so all meals will be freshly prepared. This is a bucket-list opportunity for those eager to combine the thrill of competition with a touch of comfort and luxury.
