Grenada Sailing Week offers a great mix of middle distance and tight round the cans manoeuvres. The Round Carriacou Race is stunning and the shifty breeze and tight courses off Grande Anse near Port Louis is some of the most fun racing in the Caribbean! Join the crew of Panacea for a an opportunity to sail in different conditions and see totally different parts of beautiful Grenada.
Racing onboard Panacea will be as competitive as it can as a team, but safety will always come first followed by providing an positive learning environment where everyone can develop their skills and enjoy the experience

Wednesday: Lay day in La Phare Bleu
Thursday: Race Day 3 – La Phare Bleu to Port Louis Marina
Friday: Race Day 4 – Port Louis, prize-giving party

Katy Campbell is owner and skipper of Panacea X and Ben is First Mate. Katy has raced with winning crews in Canada, Europe and the Caribbean on successful campaigns including the Vancouver Area Racing Championship circuit, the VanIsle 360, the Rolex Fastnet and qualifying events, the Rolex Middle Sea Race, a one-design European Championship campaign, and the Caribbean racing circuit. She has coached hundreds of keen new and experienced sailors to success in similar events.
Ben has been sailing since he was just 2 weeks old! He was just 15 years old for his first ocean race, logging serious miles in the VicMaui aboard a Santa Cruz 50 and after racing lasers at a high level went on to become a Sail Canada coach.
This opportunity is open to sailors with a range of sailing experience. The professional crew have experience in bringing together a crew of mixed experience to make sure everyone is actively involved in racing the yacht.
Carriacou / Grenada
Crew will need to find accommodation ashore for this event. For Race Day 2 where you race from Carriacou to Le Phare Bleu in Grenada, crew bags will be carried onboard or arrange to be carried by another boat.
