This opportunity allows all crew members to be fully involved in the daily ’round-the-marks’ racing at the world famous Cowes Week regatta which marks it’s 200th Edition in 2026!
Friday 31st July – Practice Day
Saturday 1st- Friday 7th August – One race each day throughout the week organised by each of the local yachts clubs in a large number of Classes. Starts alternative between the historic Royal Yacht Squadron line and start lines laid out in the Solent. Racing takes place in all areas of the Solent to take advantage of the weather conditions on the day.
Richard is one of the most experienced skippers you’ll have the pleasure of meeting, having sailed throughout his life around the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Richard, who has crossed the Atlantic 20 times, owned several yachts before Emily of Cowes including the beautiful schooner, Coral of Cowes and the legendary ketch Emily Morgan.

This opportunity is open to sailors with a range of sailing experience. The professional crew have experience in bringing together a crew of mixed experience to make sure everyone is actively involved in racing the yacht.
