La Reponse, a Ker 39 with a successful racing history, stands out for its competitiveness and consistent performance in the Performance 40 class. Formerly known as Vencom and previously Antix, this vessel has long been recognized as a formidable contender on the racing circuit.

Under her former name Antix, La Reponse was celebrated as one of the premier IRC options, often giving the King 40 and other production yachts a run for their money. As Vencom, she competed under the ORC rating rule in Sweden, where her transom and keel were expertly modified in collaboration with Ker Yacht Design to optimize her ORC rating.

Her blend of design excellence and proven performance makes her an exceptional choice for dedicated racing enthusiasts.

Since her return to the UK, La Reponse has undergone meticulous maintenance, including significant upgrades such as new electronics, interior improvements, and a fresh coat of paint. These enhancements ensure that she remains at the cutting edge of competitive sailing. In the 2022 season, she demonstrated her prowess once again, securing an impressive 4th place overall in the Performance 40 class. With a current IRC rating of 1.132 and an ORC rating of 553.7 (from 2017), La Reponse is primed and ready for her next challenge, whether it’s competing in the UK as part of an Admiral’s Cup campaign or returning to European waters for ORC racing.
